The Homestead Farm Resort is nestled in the heart of the Catskills Mountains and is a reflection of its history and charm. At your barn wedding, you and your guests will enjoy the bucolic ambiance through 250 acres of untapped mountains, fields, meadows, forests, lakes and a true mountain stream.

The mountain backdrop provides captivating scenery for your rustic, or country chic wedding. Imagine your barn wedding ceremony by the lake, or under a tree canopy, in the fall with the mountains aflame in color. Or, imagine your ceremony by a field with the wind gently swaying the tall grass and wildflowers. For your convenience, we can provide you with the arbor and white chairs for your ceremony.

Homestead’s centerpiece is its vintage stable barn with its Gothic roof. We renovated the barn with an eye towards retaining its rustic, country flavor. The rounded walls cascade into a 30 foot ceiling and have been draped in lacquered pine. It is truly a sight to behold. The dance floor opens out to an open-air deck where your guests can enjoy stunning views of the mountains, lake and stream. Your guests can also mingle by the 15 foot bar, with its stained glass cabinetry. Matching oak tables and chairs complete the wooded appearance for your barn wedding.

The barn also affords the modern amenities that are essential for you and your guests to be comfortable at your barn wedding. Our venue is heated, so there is no concern should the Catskills nights get chilly. Separate Men’s and Women’s restrooms, a kitchen and preparation room for your caterer, a coatroom, and a large lounge area for the bride’s preparations are located inside the barn.

The Homestead Farm Resort is that unique venue where you can enjoy a sunset on the lake, mountain views or a forest alcove for your ceremony.
